Top 15 NFL QB Predictions for 2021
Number 15: Kirk Cousins
Cousins had a very underrated 2020. Tossing for 35 passing Td’s and 4,000 yards. Cousins had his number 1 WR Stefon Diggs traded away last offseason, after this people we’re very concerned about how he would preform, Well…. he balled. And his new WR Justin Jefferson helped a ton. Expect Cousins to lead the Vikings to the playoffs.
Number 14: Jared Goff
About a month ago Goff was shipped off to Detroit in a blockbuster trade involving Mathew Stafford. Goff was mediocre this passed season throwing for 20 TDs and about 4,000 yards. But threw 13 int’s. Goff is in a interesting situation, new head coach and above average supporting cast. I expect Goff to carry the Lions to a playoff berth.
Number 13: Matt Ryan
Matty Ice was once again tossed into a horrible position this season with a terrible defense which could not get off the field. Ryan threw for about 5,000 yards and 26 touchdowns. Ryan had a injury prone Julio Jones through out the season which was super hard on him, but newly proven WR Calvin Ridley had formed into that role. I do expect Matt Ryan to bounce back but I do not expect the Falcons to have a bounce back year.
Number 12: Ryan Tannehill
Tannehill is such an inspiration, he came back from a torn ACL in 2017 and was traded to the Titans and was suppose to be a backup to Marcus Mariota but eventually got the starting job. Tannehill has been overshadowed by his bell cow running back Derrick Henry. I expect him to become a all-pro QB next year.
Number 11: Carson Wentz
Wentz had a underwhelming 2020 season to say the least. Tossing for 16 TDs and nearly 3,000 yards but threw 15 picks. The eagles shipped Wentz to the colts this offseason and he is now reunited with his former offensive coordinator Frank Reich. With the Colts having the best offensive line in the NFL I expect Wentz to lead the colts a AFC south title.
Number 10: Trevor Lawrence
Now we all know where T-Law will land…. Jacksonville, newly hired head coach Urban Meyer is a offensive master mind. These 2 will dominate together in the pros. T-Law has a plethora weapons in Jacksonville including jump ball beast Marvin Jones. I don’t expect the Jaguars to go crazy but to show the NFL there going to be the real deal.
Number 9:Ben Roethlisberger
Big Ben had a very solid 2020 season throwing for almost 4,000 yards and 33 TDs. Ben had a emerging star in WR Chase Claypool. Bens number 1 target JuJu Smith Schuster is leaving in free agency which is very hard on a older QB. I expect Ben to have a stellar year in 2021.
Number 8: Cam Newton
Yes Newton had a horrendous 2020 season passing wise. Throwing for 8 TDs to 16 picks. Cam also ran for 12 TDs. The patriots re-signed Newton to a 1 year deal worth up to 14 million dollars. The Pats went out and signed the top 2 best tight ends in free agency in Jonnu Smith and Hunter Henry. And nabbed 2 very underrated WRs Nelson Agholor and Kendrick Bourne. I expect Cam to bounce back and lead the Patriots to a 13–4 record with his new weapons.
Number 7: Josh Allen
Allen had a MVP type year in 2020, throwing for 4,500 yards and 37 TDs. The biggest reason for his success was the trade for WR Stefon Diggs from the Vikings. I expect basically the same out of Allen this coming season.
Number 6: Kyler Murray
Murray Balled this year with the best WR in the NFL Deandre Hopkins Murray dropped nearly 4,000 passing yards and 26 TDs. Murray is now living up to the hype. I expect Murray to be in the MVP conversation in 2021.
Number 5: Russel Wilson
At the beginning of the 2020 season Wilson was looking like an MVP quarterback. Towards the half way mark Russ started forcing throws into coverage and horrible decisions. But Wilson non the less is a unanimous top 5 QB. I am expecting him to ball out wherever he’s playing in 2021.
Number 4: Tom Brady
Oh man it seems like father time will never catch up to the GOAT. Brady just signed an extension with the Bucs which will have him playing in his late 40's! I think Brady will have about the same if not a better season in 2021.
Number 3: Mathew Stafford
Hot take alert! Stafford was traded to the Rams earlier this offseason in a blockbuster deal with the Lions. Stafford missed 5 games due to injuries. I think Mathew will ball out in L.A. with a better o-line and above average weapons. I expect a HUGE season from the former all-pro QB.
Number 2: Aaron Rodgers
Rodgers was named the 2020 NFL MVP with a career years. A-Rod threw for 4,200 yards and 48 TDs. Nothing really expecting anything but the same from the gun slinger.
Number 1: Patrick Mahomes
Do I really have to explain?
